Open for business - on site and online

The health, safety and wellbeing of our team and everybody who visits Furness Park Prestige and Sport is, and always will be, at the forefront of our minds.

With a national tier system now in place, we will always act according to the guidelines. At the moment, our showroom and forecourt are open to members of the public. We are restricting the number of people inside at any one time and ask that if at all possible, you call before you pay us a visit so we can manage numbers effectively and safely.

Our showroom

As outlined above, our showroom is open, but we have measures in place to ensure the safety of our customers and team members. We ask that you wear a face covering at all times while inside, and make use of the hand sanitising stations when you enter. Don't worry if you forget your mask - we have plenty spare.

We operate a one-way system in the showroom - please stick to it when you are on site. Once you are in one of our offices, you will see we have taken the additional measure of installing Perspex screens. It's not how we would choose to do business - but safety comes first!

The Forecourt

We have recently been on something of a buying spree and now have upwards of 300 cars in stock. Please feel free to have a wander about our forecourt and to see if there is anything which tickles your fancy. We ask that you don't touch the cars as they have been sanitised.

Live video tours

If you are interested in one of our cars and would like to see it in a more interactive way, we will happily arrange for a live video tour. We can do this via your preferred video conferencing technology. We normally use WhatsApp because it's simple and most people have it. But we will happily accommodate your needs. Sales process

Of course, it would be our preference to meet with you face-to-face, but we understand you might not want to do that. Indeed it might not be possible due to your local Tier or due to distance.

To help overcome this, we are offering digital meetings via the likes of Zoom or WhatsApp. Or you might just opt for a good, old fashioned phone call. Whatever is your preference, we will do everything we can to help.

Car preparation

We understand that Covid is a concern to many people and to provide peace of mind, we have updated our already rigorous car preparation process to ensure it is Covid-secure.

Ahead of delivery, every car is thoroughly cleaned to the exacting standards of Furness Park Prestige and Sport.

It is then treated with our atomising machine, which sprays a fine disinfecting mist across the whole vehicle interior. The treatment in no way adversely affects the car's interior or instruments.

Cars are then sealed with labels which confirm their Covid-secure status.

Car delivery

We have a team of delivery drivers on hand to bring your new vehicle from our showroom direct to your door.

All cars are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised ahead of delivery and our drivers wear PPE at all times.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide our usual full handover service, which includes a comprehensive tutorial on the vehicle's functions, due to guidance around social distancing. But we will, of course, be on hand to answer any questions you have as you start life with your new car.

We normally apply a modest charge for delivery - but for the time being, we have opted to cover the cost of delivery for your convenience.

In most cases, from the point of sale, we will be able to deliver your new car within a week.

Service and MOT Centre

Our Service and MOT Centre is open for business between 9am and 5.30pm. Work is carried out on a strict pre-booked basis. Once your car is dropped off on site, we treat it with a sanitising atomiser spray to ensure so far as is possible, all bacteria and infections, if present, are killed.

Work will then be undertaken by a member of our workshop team, before your car is sanitised again ahead of collection.

There are allocated parking bays along the side of the workshop. Please park your car in one of these bays. Our service team can be contacted on 01229 820 595.

Our team

We could not survive without our amazing team - so please be assured we are doing everything we can to keep them safe.

All team members have been supplied with PPE and we have hand sanitising stations across our site.

We strive to maintain correct social distancing measures at all times. Team members have been assigned set workstations and work areas.

Anybody who thinks they may have a symptom of Covid-19 is instructed not to attend work - and given support through the testing period until they are given the all-clear.

General policies

We are a Covid-secure workplace and have carried out a full assessment of our site in line with government recommendations.

PPE is provided at the entrance to our showroom for all visitors (when open).

We operate a mandatory mask-wearing policy on-site, excepting individuals who are medically exempt.

Our cleaning regime has been increased and a new commercial cleaning company contracted.

Our site rules are clearly displayed at our main entry point.

We have subscribed to the government's track and trace scheme and clearly display a QR code at our entrance.

We have installed perspex Covid protection screens at all desks where team members and clients may sit at the same time.

We no longer offer accompanied test drives. During lockdown periods of when the Tier system dictates, test drives will be suspended.
